Portfolios analysis can be conducted individually or as a collaborative effort among colleagues. To add a collaborator to a portfolio and specify permissions for that user, begin to type their name or email address in the input box then select the appropriate name from the auto-complete list. Next, assign a role to each collaborator:
- Manager - managers can manage curatable fields, user roles, content, set initial user preferences, and view the portfolio. However, they can not curate the portfolio.
- Super Curator - super curators include all of the functionality of a Manager, as well as the ability to curate the portfolio.
- Curator - curators can curate the portfolio, view, query, and add/mask content.
- User - users can view and query the portfolio but cannot curate or manage any aspect of the portfolio
Note: As the creator of a portfolio, your role is automatically set as a Super Curator unless you change your role in the User’s tab of the portfolio.
Managers and Super Curators have the ability to set the initial user preferences for all other members of the portfolio. However, members of the portfolio can modify their own user preferences within the portfolio by going into User Preferences and saving their changes. Modifications made to user preferences by any individual member in the portfolio will only apply to their specific account and not be applied to all members of the portfolio.
